Ingredients:
1 cup of butter
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup of cane sugar
2 tsp of vanilla extract
2 eggs
2 cups of flour
1 tsp of corn starch
1/2 tsp of baking soda
1 tsp of baking powder
Pinch of salt
1 cup of chocolate chips (adjust to your preference)
Instructions:
Brown butter in a sauce pan and let it cool to room temperature.
Add sugar to the butter mixture and whisk until creamy, about 2-3 minutes.
Add vanilla and egg to the mixture and whisk for another 2 minutes.
Add flour, salt, cornstarch, baking soda, baking powder, and chocolate chips to the mixture and mix until just combined. Don’t overmix.
Scoop out batter onto baking sheet and put in freezer for at least 1 hr if cooking right away. Otherwise can be stored in freezer bag.
When ready to bake, preheat oven to 375F to bake for 8-10 mins.
